Wings. 3.8mx 1m, human hair and clay, 2007

A site specific installation completed as part of the exhibition, The Third Space. The brief was to create site specific works in the building which had not been changed since Regency times. I made this piece in the old servants quarters ideas of suppression, escapism and yet enduring human strength symbolized in the human hair binding the cracking clay together.
